„Pijto“ Privacy Policy
1.Please read carefully this Privacy Policy (hereinafter the "Privacy Policy" or "Policy") before downloading, installing or using mobile application entitled „Pijto“ (hereinafter „Application“).
2.The Application is developed and provided by Ing. Stepan Kouba (hereinafter "Developer").
3.The Application is designed mainly to enable you, as registered user, to share your reviews / evaluation of beverages (mainly alcoholic) with other registered users and to facilitate easier set up of events (tastings), etc. among interested registered users. The Application therefore displays mainly information on inserted beverages (including photos of the beverages – optionally - taken by registered users) and their review/evaluation by registered users and it also displays name (if inserted during registration process) and username chosen by the user during registration process in such user´s post or comment under some other user´s post. If you fill in your preferences in terms of the beverage type(s) you prefer (e.g. beer, red wine, etc.) such preferences are also displayed on your personal card and are visible for other users as well as users you follow and users that follow you. Other information you insert during registration process (see below in par. 6.) are not displayed to other users and/or third parties.
4.Registration is mandatory in order to be able to use the features of the Application.
5.“User” of the Application is every natural person older than 18 years of age (or – in case the user is resident of a country where applicable laws set out different mandatory age for legal consumption of alcohol – older than such mandatory age, e.g. 21 years) who signs up/registers and provides his/her personal information to the Developer under conditions stipulated by this Policy.
6.The Application obtains the information you provide when you register and/or use the Application, in the following way:
Information/data you type in in the course of mandatory registration within the Application. Such data are: your name, gender, e-mail address, user name and password (hereinafter “Personal Data”).
The Application may also automatically collect certain information, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, your mobile operating system, the IP address of your mobile device, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, plug-ins, language preferences, information about the way you use the Application, the date and time of your request towards the server and WiFi and IP addresses received from your browser or device (which may be used to determine your approximate location; precise GPS location from your mobile devices is collected only with your permission) –hereinafter collectively “Information”.
7.Personal Data and Information is collected and processed by the Developer under the terms stipulated by this Policy.
8.As the Developer resides in the Czech Republic, all the Personal Data provided by yourself during registration process and all the Information are collected, processed and kept in strict accordance with the Act of the Czech Republic No. 101/2000 Coll., on Personal Data Protection (hereinafter “The Act”) and other applicable legislation, including relevant EU legislation on personal data protection. In accordance with The Act (Section 11, 12, 21) you are entitled to demand:
- information about a way and purpose of processing Personal Data, about its nature, source etc.;
- explanation whether the Developer processes your Personal Data legally and consistently with the protection of your private and personal life;
- removal of incorrect or inaccurate Personal Data about you, or demand correction of faulty pieces of personal information.
9.All the Personal Data provided by you during registration process and all the Information are processed for the purpose of the Application´s further development (to make the Application better the Developer has to understand how users are using it), for marketing purposes and service offerings that may be sent to you time to time and for necessary communication between you and the Developer. This Policy is however not intended to place any limits on what the Developer does with usage data that is aggregated or de-identified so it is no longer tied to you as an Application user.
10.By providing Personal Data and signing up/registering to the Application you express your consent to the Developer to collect, processes and keep your Personal Data provided during registration as well as Information to the extent and for purposes stipulated by this Policy. Such consent is granted for indefinite period of time and may be withdrawn by yourself anytime for free by uninstalling the Application from all the devices where you use the Application. You can also withdraw your consent by writing an email to the following address: stepan@pijto.com, which causes deletion of your user account and the Developer ceases to use collected Personal Data and Information onwards. Unless not expressly requested in your withdrawal otherwise, the Developer might however process and utilize other than Personal Data collected during your utilization of the Application, as specified in par. 6 above.
11.Developer provides and ensures physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your processed and maintained Personal Data and Information from unauthorized use, disclosure or access by third parties.
12.The Developer does not provide, publish or make available any pieces of Personal Data to any third party, unless required by applicable law. Only aggregated, anonymized data may be transmitted to external service providers to help the Developer improve the Application. If the Developer is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets and/or transfer of the rights to the Application onto different entity/legal person (this may however only take place on condition that the Developer owns majority of voting rights in such entity), you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on the Application website: www.pijto.com.
13.This Policy might be updated/amended time to time by the Developer. Any such change will be without undue delay made available on the Application website: www.pijto.com. Only the version posted on the aforementioned website is applicable and relevant (as of the time of its posting on the web page). If you continue to use the Application after changes of this Policy are in effect, you agree to the revised Policy. If the changes are material, the Developer may - upon its discretion - provide more prominent notice or seek your consent to the new version of Policy.
14.By finishing the mandatory part of the registration process within the Application and by clicking on “Sign In / Registrovat” button you express your unconditional consent to this Policy and its content.
